Primer: Generative REgularized ModeLs of proteINs

March 6, 2019
Harvard University

A general, sparse and speculative introduction to statistical models of protein evolution and why some approximations work and others don't. Touching upon conservation, co-evolution, phylogenetics and how we can use these models to "cheat" or avoid the protein folding problem for protein structure determination and design.
