Markers for assessing risk of developing or having obsessive compulsive disorder

Provided herein are methods and compositions for identifying subjects as having elevated risk of developing a neuropsychiatric disorder or as having a neuropsychiatric disorder. These subjects are identified based on the presence of one or more mutations.
