Jason Rush

Jason Rush is a group leader working in the Center for the Development of Therapeutics (CDoT) at the Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard. He is part of the translational pharmacology department and is involved in therapeutics projects involving immuno-oncology, inflammatory bowel disease, and targeted protein degradation.

Rush joined the Broad Institute in July 2014 after completing postdoctoral research in the labs of Andrew Phillips and Jo Handelsman exploring how small molecules influence microbial secondary metabolism. He holds a Ph.D. in chemistry from the University of California at Berkeley, where he worked with Carolyn Bertozzi to exploit a unique post-translational modification for protein engineering purposes. He also holds a B.S. in chemistry from the University of Michigan.
