BroadE: Introduction to the ENCODE portal

The presentation below was filmed during the May 2020 ENCODE Data Utilization workshop, part of the BroadE Workshop series.

The ENCODE project is building a comprehensive parts list of functional elements in the human genome, and mapping the regulatory mechanisms that control gene expression. ENCODE consists of ~15,000 curated datasets, and continues to grow.

In this video, our partners at the ENCODE data coordination center at Stanford (DCC) will teach you how to access and work with data via the ENCODE portal.

Speakers: Idan Gabdank & Khine Zin Lin, ENCODE DCC, Stanford
