Jillian Eskra, Ph.D.

Jillian Eskra is a research scientist I in the PRISM lab at the Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard. The PRISM technology enables multiplexed screening of therapeutic candidates in hundreds of genomically characterized human cancer cell line models. Her research focuses on developing and implementing novel applications of the PRISM assay as a screening tool. The goal of this work is to gain new insights into cancer biology and accelerate therapeutic discovery. 

Prior to joining the Broad Institute in 2022, Eskra completed a postdoctoral research fellowship at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, where her work focused on noninvasive diagnostic assay development and cancer biomarker profiling. She was awarded a patent for developing a urine-based testing method for early stage prostate cancer detection. 

Eskra holds a bachelor’s degree in biological sciences and a Ph.D. in pathology, both earned from the University of Illinois at Chicago.
