Toni Delorey

Toni Marie Delorey is the associate director of technology in the Klarman Cell Observatory (KCO) at the Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard. Delorey first worked at the Broad in the Genomics Platform’s technology development group and as a senior research assistant in the Regev lab from 2008 to 2014. After graduate school, she re-joined the Broad at the KCO in 2019. Her current focus is integrating genomics technologies to generate high quality, multimodal data from diverse patient tissue and cell types.

Delorey was awarded the Staff Scientist Distinction Award, in Service to the Broad Institute in 2021 and the Broad Institute Excellence Award for Extraordinary Work Related to the COVID-19 Pandemic in 2020.

Delorey received her B.S. in biology from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, M.L.A. in biotechnology from the Harvard University Extension School, and Ph.D. in biology and biotechnology from Worcester Polytechnic Institute. Her Ph.D. thesis explored the interactions of the fungal pathogen Candida albicans and human immune cells.
