Researchers in the program work closely with scientists in the Stanley Center for Psychiatric Research to uncover genetic risk factors for severe mental illnesses, including schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, and autism, and eventually help shed light on disease pathogenesis, biomarkers, and new therapeutic opportunities.
