To benefit patients through advances in biomedicine, we at the Broad Institute believe academia and industry should work closely together to break new ground and translate early findings into treatments. Through research collaborations and technology licensing, the Broad community works with industry partners who share our values and scientific vision to accelerate the translation of biomedical discoveries, to share findings and data widely, and to maximize benefits for human health. Our pharmaceutical and technology partners bring complementary expertise and capabilities to the table, including talent and infrastructure in drug development and patient engagement for clinical trials. These relationships enhance the potential for the Broad to transform early scientific discoveries into new diagnostics and treatments.
