With much regret, we are canceling the third annual Food Allergy Science Initiative (FASI) symposium on April 17, 2020. In light of the ongoing COVID-19 outbreak, the Broad has had to restrict meetings and all events consisting of more than 25 people must be canceled. This is part of a public health strategy to slow down the acquisition or transmission of the virus in our community.

Food allergy is a severe public health threat faced by millions worldwide, the large majority of whom are children. Shockingly, we know very little about the science behind food allergies, and diagnostics and treatments remain rudimentary. Based at the Broad Institute, the Food Allergy Science Initiative (FASI) takes aim at this urgent challenge.
