Broad Global Health Initiative

The Broad Global Health Initiative strives to improve health for all by nurturing global-minded scientists, identifying synergies across scientific communities to enhance ongoing global health work, and by creating new opportunities for impact.
Together, we are working to establish deep institutional capacity across the Broad Institute community in the supporting elements that enable global health research. We aim to bring the full power of biomedicine, conscience, and community to bear on some of the biggest health challenges facing humanity.
Our goals include:
- addressing the ethical and organizational issues related to working in lower-resource settings,
- building strong connections with international academic, government, and policy agencies, and
-
deepening our institutional commitments to training and capacity building across areas of international collaboration, especially around issues of health disparities.
