Whitney Dodds

Whitney Dodds is the director of research compliance and risk management at the Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard. She oversees the institute’s regulatory and policy infrastructure and leads efforts to strengthen research compliance programs in conflicts of interest, export controls, and research security. She also oversees Broad’s enterprise risk management function. In addition to her compliance leadership, Dodds holds several key roles at Broad, including chair of the Conflict of Interest Committee, co-chair of the Compliance Working Group, co-chair of the Research Security Committee, and co-chair of the Standing Committee on Risk Management. Before joining Broad, Dodds worked in the Office for Academic and Research Integrity at Harvard Medical School, managing conflicts of interest in research and supporting the Faculty of Medicine Standing Committee on Conflict of Interest and Commitment.
