Talita Choudhury
Research Scientist I
Talita Choudhury is a research scientist I in the Cardiovascular Disease Initiative (CVDi) and Precision Cardiology Lab (PCL) at the Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard. She joined the team in April 2025 and works in the Broad-Bayer collaboration to support the identification and validation of novel therapeutics for cardiovascular diseases.
Before joining the PCL, Choudhury earned her Ph.D. in molecular, cellular and developmental biology from The Ohio State University under the guidance of Vidu Garg. There, she studied the effect of maternal diabetes on cardiovascular development and the impact of gene-environment interactions in congenital heart disease.
