Susan Klaeger, Ph.D.
Research Scientist

Susan Klaeger is a research scientist in the Proteomics Platform at the Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard working under the direction of Steve Carr. Throughout her graduate and postgraduate development, and now as a staff research scientist in proteomics at the Broad Institute, Klaeger has focused on the application of proteomics to translational research. She has improved discovery mass spectrometry methods to study antigen presentation, inform antigen prediction algorithms, and identify actionable epitopes presented on HLA proteins. Her research also includes proteome and phosphoproteome analyses to study protein expression and signaling in patient tumors. In addition, Klaeger collaborates with groups at the Broad and Dana Farber Cancer Institute.
Klaeger holds a Ph.D. in molecular biotechnology and has been trained in mass spectrometry and proteomics.
