Rahi’s research involved Gene Set Enrichment Analysis (GSEA), an analytical method that interprets gene expression data by focusing on gene sets. He used computational bioinformatics techniques to construct gene sets that correlated with certain themes in the GSEA program. Rahi felt that his experience helped prepare him for the future of cutting-edge biological research, of which he thinks computational biology will be a large part.
Rahi is strongly considering pursuing a college degree in a field related to biology and his work at the Broad. In his spare time, Rahi enjoys traveling, cinema from the Golden Age of Hollywood, and teaching Hindi, Latin, and science to elementary school students.
