Naoe Suzuki

Naoe Suzuki, Broad’s fifth artist-in-residence, is not a scientist, but her approach to art is scientific in that it incorporates periods of deep observation, data gathering, research and experimentation. Her work inquires into science, building on images from the natural world — or removing images, leaving spaces that draw the eye to absence.

Suzuki has received many grants and awards for her art work, and she holds an M.F.A. from the Massachusetts College of Art and Design. Her portfolio is available at www.naoesuzuki.com
