Jennifer (Jenn) Nava is the chief information officer at the Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard, where she works side-by-side with IT and scientific teams to develop their digital capabilities.  This collaborative effort leads to the development of innovative pathways in transformative technology. 

Nava previously held the position of vice president, enterprise IT at Flagship Pioneering, where she provided comprehensive support to Flagship HQ and over 30 portfolio companies in the conception and execution of digital solutions. Her responsibilities encompassed building multi-year digital IT roadmaps tailored to the specific needs of these entities, as well as enhancing Flagship's operational infrastructure to facilitate their scaling endeavors.

Prior to joining Flagship, Nava was the VP, head of enterprise technology for Spero Therapeutics where she and her IT team successfully led the multi-year enterprise technology transformation in preparation for their first commercial drug launch. This included all G&A systems, IT infrastructure and core systems, R&D, quality, GMP, medical and commercial platforms. She has also held IT leadership positions at Syros Pharmaceuticals, Bioverativ, and Biogen.

Nava studied information technology at Lindsey Wilson College. She is a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) and a Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), and is certified in Microsoft Teams and other collaboration platforms.
