Clare Bernard is a consultant for the Data Sciences Platform at the Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard. DSP is a group of over 300 software engineers and computational biologists who are responsible for the development and operations of software products used for analyzing biomedical data including GATK and the Terra Platform.
Prior to joining the Broad, Bernard led product and engineering at Tamr, a Cambridge-based software company that uses machine learning to integrate large datasets.
She received her B.S. in math and physics from Johns Hopkins University and her Ph.D. from Boston University for research in particle physics conducted at the Large Hadron Collider.
