Cathy Forest
Director of CDoT Strategy and Operations
Cathy Forest is the director of strategy & operations for the Center for the Development of Therapeutics (CDoT) at the Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard. In addition to helping the CDoT leadership team articulate the organization’s strategy, she is also responsible for ensuring that the strategy is effectively executed and that CDoT continues to be a center of excellence in the development of novel therapeutics.
Forest joined the Broad in June 2018, having held a number of roles in finance and market insights at EMD Serono Inc. (subsidiary of Merck KGaA, Darmstadt) for more than nine years. She has also held management positions in non-pharma industries, including fast moving consumer goods and audit and assurance services. Forest has also worked in secondary education, as a high school English teacher and as a special education teacher.
Forest earned a B.S. in accounting from SUNY Binghamton, a B.A. in English from UMASS Boston, and an M.E. in special education from American International College.
