Arthur Liberzon, Ph.D.

Arthur Liberzon is a bioinformatics scientist I and the curator of Molecular Signatures Database (MSigDB), a widely used resource of biological knowledge in the form of lists of genes (a.k.a. gene sets). Working under the direction of Helga Thorvaldsdóttir, Liberzon provides user support for the mainstream genomic analysis software GSEA and functions as part of the knowledge base team in the Cancer Program at the Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard.

Liberzon joined the Broad Institute in 2007. He holds a Ph.D. in molecular biology from the Weizmann Institute of Science in Israel and undertook his postdoctoral training in bioinformatics at Boston University.
