Andrew Aguirre

Andrew Aguirre is an institute member at the Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard, an assistant professor of medicine at Harvard Medical School, and a medical oncologist and physician-scientist at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. 

Aguirre is dedicated to improving care for patients with gastrointestinal cancers, particularly pancreatic cancer. He directs a research laboratory focused on developing new diagnostic and treatment approaches for these diseases.

Aguirre trained in internal medicine at Massachusetts General Hospital and in medical oncology at the Dana-Farber/Mass General Brigham fellowship program.
