Alexander Ehrmann

Alexander Ehrmann is a scientist and project manager in the group primarily interested in target discovery for cardiovascular diseases. Currently, he is involved in the setup of in vitro mechanistic assay platforms to elucidate cardiomyocyte and endothelial disease biology in order to substantiate findings from single cell sequencing data. He holds a Ph.D. in Biochemistry and has worked at Bayer since 2010 as a Lab Head. Prior to joining the group, he was working on the development and realization of cell-based assays for identification of new lead structures by ultra-high throughput screening.
