The Broad Institute invites faculty from MIT, Harvard, and the Harvard-affiliated hospitals to become Associate Members of the Broad.
Associate Members are critical members of our collaborative community who are deeply and actively engaged in our scientific life and work. (See opportunities and responsibilities of Associate Members).
Additionally, this year, we have created a new type of membership called Affiliated Membership. This category would be appropriate for individuals interested primarily in participating in scientific meetings at the Broad, but who do not plan to engage in scientific projects or have grants at the Broad. If this category better describes your level of preferred involvement, you may apply to be an Affiliate Member.
Anyone with a faculty appointment at MIT, Harvard, or any of the Harvard-affiliated hospitals may self-nominate for Associate Member or Affiliate Member using the self-nomination form.
The deadline for self-nominations is Friday, July 28, 2017.
The Collaboration Coordinating Committee, composed of members from each of the partner institutions, will review and approve the appointment of Associate Members at its September 2017 meeting.
