Genome STRiP was originally conceived during work in support of the 1000 Genomes Project.
The NHGRI Informatics Tools Network ("iSeqTools", http://www.iseqtools.org) is now supporting the development of Genome STRiP into robust research software that can be used by many labs. You will see many updates to Genome STRiP over the coming years as we work to enhance its robustness and usability.
