Affymetrix Gene Expression

The Genetic Analysis Platform offers 3’ and whole transcript arrays from Affymetrix for use with both mouse and human samples. Affymetrix 3' whole genome expression arrays interrogate each gene with multiple independent probes. These arrays offer accurate, robust and reproducible 3'-based, gene-level expression profiling. Affymetrix whole genome arrays differ in content, cost, and the number of samples that can be run in parallel. These arrays can be used for comparisons with existing data sets in the Gene Expression Omnibus, Gene Ontology, National Center for Biotechnology Information, and other databases.

In addition, we have implemented amplification systems from Affymetrix and NuGEN to allow gene expression studies using rare or precious samples whose RNA quality and/or quantity may be limited.
