Retreat 2015

The Eleventh Annual Broad Retreat will be held December 14–15, 2015 at the Hynes Convention Center. Attend the retreat to experience the amazing depth of science at Broad and connect with Broad colleagues. The two-day retreat will feature short talks, breakout sessions, and the opportunity to meet and exchange information with your Broad colleagues away from the pressures of labs, offices, and regular meeting schedules.

The retreat is FREE and open to Broad staff, affiliates, associate members, and members of their labs. All Broad Retreat events are closed to the public. Please help to protect your colleagues’ unpublished science by making sure your Broad Retreat name badge is visible at all times.

Each year, the retreat features a number of talks that represent a cross-section of the collaborative and innovative work taking place at Broad. Recommend a colleague—or yourself!—to present a talk.

In between the talks are several breakout sessions where we discuss all aspects of the science we do. Topics may include exciting new fields, approaches, and technologies; the intersection of science and public life; ways the Broad supports and enables science; or any other aspect of our work. Suggest a topic for a breakout session (or volunteer to help organize one).

Share your work and meet other members of the community at the Broad Retreat Poster Session. Members of Broad scientific, administrative, and affinity groups are all welcome to present posters.

Please enter your final poster title and list of authors into the registration system by Monday, November 2, 2015.

Poster guidelines are provided on the poster page.

Social Events

The first night of the retreat will feature a reception during the poster session, and on the second night, an after-party back at Broad.

For Unpublished Work

In accordance with our standard practices, if you are presenting unpublished work you believe may be patentable, please contact the Office of Strategic Alliances and Partnering (OSAP) to complete an Invention Disclosure Form.
