The Tenth Annual Broad Retreat will be held November 17 – 18 at the Hynes Convention Center.
As in past years, the 2014 retreat is an opportunity to learn about the scientific work that is underway throughout the Broad community. It is also a chance to meet and mingle with your fellow Broad colleagues, whether they work across the cubicle or across the river.
The retreat is FREE and open to Broad staff, affiliates, associate members and their labs.
The two-day Broad Retreat will feature short talks, breakout sessions, and the opportunity to meet and exchange information with your Broad colleagues away from the pressures of labs, offices and regular meeting schedules.
Last year, the Retreat Planning Committee selected 34 talks to be presented at the 2013 retreat, including selected talks nominated by the Broad community. Details about this year's selection process will be posted when they are available.
In lieu of poster sessions at the 2013 retreat, three poster sessions were held in the weeks leading up to the conference. The new Broad Retreat Poster Series gave Broadies the opportunity to present their work in the 7CC lobby.
QR codes at the retreat allow attendees ready access to information right from a smart phone. You will need to download a QR Code Reader to be able to scan the code and be directed to a website. QRDroid for Android Phones and Google Goggles for iPhone are two popular, free reader apps.
If you are presenting unpublished work you believe may be potentially patentable contact the Office of Strategic Alliances and Partnering (OSAP) at firstname.lastname@example.org, to complete an Invention Disclosure Form.
