Thank you for agreeing to provide an evaluation/letter of recommendation on behalf of a potential applicant to the Broad Institute’s Summer Research Program in Genomics (SRPG).

The Broad Institute is a leading institute for genomic science whose collaborative environment brings together scientists from a range of disciplines and institutions to tackle ambitious challenges in biomedicine. Our partner institutions include, MIT, Harvard University, Harvard Medical School and the Harvard-affiliated hospitals.

The Broad’s Diversity Initiative offers SRPG as an intensive nine-week summer experience for underrepresented minority undergraduates with a commitment to biomedical research and a strong interest in pursuing a Ph.D. or MD/Ph.D. While the program is highly selective, we accept participants from a range of educational levels and backgrounds. We also welcome students who have not yet had previous research experience.

The letters of recommendation represent a critical part of our selection process. We appreciate your time and thoughtfulness in completing this evaluation.

Please complete the information in the fields below. Then, using official letterhead, upload a PDF of your signed letter of recommendation. Please see the guide at the end of this document for questions to consider as you write your evaluation and instructions on naming your pdf file.
