Summer Internship
The summer internship program is designed for local high school students, during the summer in between their junior and senior years, who are interested in learning more about science and genomics. Students chosen for the program spend six weeks in a laboratory at the Broad Institute, where they carry out research projects designed for them by their mentors.
Although the program focuses on laboratory work, interns gain in-depth knowledge of genomic research by attending scientific seminars, discussing science in the news, and touring other labs at the Broad. To complete the internship, each student presents the results of his or her research project during a scientific poster session open to the Broad community.
We are not currently accepting applications for this program. If you are interested in internship possibilities at the Broad, please click here, and we will email you when we have more information.
