No need to subscribe to the group if you just want to read postings, but you must subscribe in order to post.
Note that this is the preferred way to contact the IGV team.

(2) Alternatively, bug reports and feature requests can be entered into the issue list at our open source code site. 

(3) If you need to reach the IGV team privately on other topics you can email us directly.
