Guillermo del Angel

Guillermo del Angel joined the Broad Institute on May 2010. Since joining he has been developing general features on the GATK and has led the creation of the GATK's indel calling capabilities.
Guillermo received a Ph.D. from Cornell University in 2001 working on information theory and on control of stochastic dynamical systems. He worked as Principal Software Engineer at Aware Inc. from 2001 to 2008 and as senior pilot engineer at The Mathworks Inc. from 2008 to 2010.
