assembly.ps is a useful output file in PostScript format. It is created by the module FinishNewReport, which runs at the end of most scripts, including Assemblez.

The contents of assembly.ps include statistics on the input reads and their libraries; the created contigs and supercontigs; and the effective coverage rates. It includes bar charts of read and insert lengths, sorted by library. If you have supplied a reference genome in DATA/contigs.fasta and run EvaluateConsensus and RefineConsensusAlignments, assembly.ps also gives a detailed comparison between the assembly and the reference.
