For binary executables, see Executable module.

Arachne binary format is the format in which Arachne stores its data internally. Arachne's assembly modules typically use binary-format files as input and output; the primary motivations are to save disk space and to cut down on I/O time. The Feudal module governs the allocation of space in Arachne binary files.

If you want to view the contents of Arachne binary files, you will need to use an output module. See Looking at assemblies. To use binary files in your own C++ code, use the Loader module.
