Seeking Applicants for Visiting Scientist Program at the Center for Cell Circuits

The Visiting Scientist Program will host researchers from labs outside of Boston for four weeks at the Broad Institute, training in a lab or computational technology of interest alongside a Center scientist.

Interested researchers need to submit
1) a short one page proposal describing relevance of the method in their current scientific work
2) two letters of recommendation, one being from current advisor or supervisor

· Library construction for RNA-seq · Integrative data analysis

Application time line: There will be two rounds of applications and hosting - January 2015 and July 2015.

January 2015 - Full Application due Sept. 30, 2014. Application approved and selected applicant informed by October 31, 2014.  Visits will be during January 2015.
July 2015 - Full Application due April 15, 2015.  Application approved and selected applicant informed by May 29, 2015.  Visits will be during July 2015.


Experimental experience: 1 year or more (preferably 2+) in wet lab molecular biology techniques
Computational experience: 1 year or more practical experience in programming languages and/or analytical programs (e.g. MATLAB, R, Python
