Fungal Orthogroups Repository

Here we provide the orthogroup assignments for all predicted protein-coding genes across 23 Ascomycete fungal genomes. These assignments incorporate YGOB's pillars and the manually curated ortholog inventory created by Valerie Wood at the Sanger Institute with the automatically inferred relations by the Synergy algorithm.

The data used for all the analyses across the 17 species described in our paper entitled A natural history and evolutionary principles of gene duplication in fungi can obtained here.

This data was last updated in January, 2009. We will update our data periodically as newer and more accurate data sets become available.

Please visit our documentation page for useful instructions on how to use this resource.
