    Argo

The Argo Genome Browser is the Broad Institute's production tool for visualizing and manually annotating whole genomes. You can view any region in an embedded instance of Argo by going to Browse Regions, selecting a region and clicking "Argo Applet".

For more information about Argo, go to the Argo website

    Feature Map

The Feature map provides a lightweight rendering of features similar to Argo for those users without the ability to use Java applets. The feature map is not as feature rich as Argo, but provides a visual map of features for a given region.

Similar to using Argo, you can view any region in the feature map by going to Browse Regions, chosing a region and clicking "FeatureMap". Also, while viewing any the details of any feature, such as a gene or an operon, you can click the "View in Feature map" link to see the feature in its context.
