Isolated from inflamed sigmoid colon biopsy tissue taken from of a 25-year-old female patient with Crohn's disease.

Isolated from an intestinal biopsy specimen taken from the terminal ileum of a 23-year-old female patient with active Crohn's disease. The tissue from which the isolate was recovered was inflamed at the time of collection.
