Staphylococcus hominis subsp. hominis C80

This strain was isolated from expectorated sputum from a 31 year old male patient with Cystic Fibrosis. This strain was isolated on Columbia CNA agar with 5% CO₂ and is not oxygen sensitive. Colonies are white and creamy.

Staphylococcus caprae C87

This strain was isolated from expectorated sputum from a 31 year old male patient with Cystic Fibrosis. This strain was isolated on Columbia CNA agar with 5% CO₂ and is not oxygen sensitive. Colonies are creamy pale yellowish/white.

Isolated from a vaginal swab and grown on blood agar at 37^oC under aerobic conditions.
