Argo Parallel Comparative View

Display the parallel comparative view from the Perpendicular Comparative View: zoom in on a region of interest in the dot plot, right click in the plot, and choose Parallel View. The parallel comparative view uses a web to show the alignment between two sequences. If you open a parallel view from a perpendicular view that contains multiple query sequences, Argo displays a separate parallel view for each query sequence (each displayed in its own tab).

The feature map at the bottom displays the reference sequence, the feature map at the top displays the query sequence, and the stretchy web between the two shows the alignments. The feature maps can be zoomed and scrolled independently; the web stretches automatically. Select a feature in a feature map or an alignment in the web to highlight the corresponding regions in all three panels.

Right click in a feature map to see options specific to the feature map. Right click in the web to see alignment specific options, described below:
